Angela Lombardo is the Program Coordinator for the Down Syndrome Program at Boston Children’s Hospital. She is also the Family Faculty for the Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities Program. Through LEND, she runs a program called Linking Hands where LEND fellows are sent on home visits to families of children with special health care needs so fellows can learn about families outside of the clinical setting. Angela is currently in graduate school earning her Masters in Social Work. Angela is the proud mother of a wonderful 25-year-old son who has Down syndrome.
